If your family enjoys Family Feud and yearned for a chance to compete on the show, now is your opportunity.
Family Feud Canada has put out a casting call for British Columbian families to participate in the sixth season of the show hosted by Gerry Dee.
“We’re searching for fun, dynamic, and energetic families to compete for their shot at winning up to $30,000,” said Ryan Savein, an associate casting producer for Family Feud Canada.
There is no deadline for applications, as they will remain open while producers conduct virtual auditions, but interested families are encouraged to get their application in as quickly as possible.
Eligible families must include five members all over 18 years of age as of Aug. 1, 2024, who permanently reside in Canada.
Those who have appeared on any version of Family Feud before are not eligible for 10 years since that prior appearance, while anyone who has been on more than two game shows in the last year are ineligible as well.
In addition, people running for political office or anyone with a connection to FremantleMedia, Zone 3, CBC, Gerry Dee Productions or any Family Feud sponsor can’t apply either.
“It’s important for us to see all types of Canadian families and communities represented on the show,” Savein added.
“To help make this opportunity accessible nationwide, Family Feud Canada supports competitor travel and accommodations for anyone living outside of Toronto!”
